In accordance with the guidance of the Grand Religious Authority, Ayatollah al-Uzma Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, the AhlulBayt (A.S.) Cultural and Charitable Foundation—one of the centers affiliated with the religious authority in Basra—has inaugurated a new institute dedicated to supporting seminary students in the Zubair district.
The institute, established under the name "Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) Institute," has launched its activities with the aim of providing academic and cultural support to students of the Islamic seminary.
The opening ceremony began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by speeches from Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Abbas Al-Aliyawi, the director of the new institute, and Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Sadiq Al-Basri, director of the AhlulBayt Foundation.
The event was attended by a number of religious figures, tribal leaders, and civil society activists.
