On the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of the ninth Imam of the Shi'a, Imam Muhammad ibn Ali al-Jawad (peace be upon him), the Alrasool Aladham (P.B.U.H. and H.F.) Mawkib—one of the centers affiliated with the religious authority in the holy city of Kadhimiya—set up a mourning station.
This mawkib was established to serve the pilgrims visiting the city during the days of mourning for Imam al-Jawad (A.S.). It offers various services to the visitors, including rest areas, distribution of multiple hot meals, beverages, and the organization of mourning gatherings and ceremonies.
