On Sunday, the 11th of Dhu al-Hijjah 1446 AH (June 18, 2025), another scholarly session of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini Shirazi (may his shadow be prolonged) was held at his residence in the holy city of Qom. The gathering was attended by dozens of scholars, religious figures, and seminary students.
The session featured discussions on a range of jurisprudential and theological topics, including: the ruling on clapping in celebration gatherings, the permissibility of decorating mosques and Hussainiyas, conditions for the validity of religious vows (nadhr), an explanation of a passage from Ziyarat al-Jami‘ah al-Kabirah, interpretation of verses 29 and 30 of Surah Al-Ahqaf, proper uses of charitable donations (sadaqah), criteria for determining frequent travel (kathir al-safar), among other important issues.
