Sayyed Ahmad Shirazi, son of the Grand Religious Authority Ayatollah al-Uzma Sayyed Sadiq Hosseini Shirazi, participated in several mourning gatherings for Imam Sayyed al-Shuhada (peace be upon him) in Kuwait during this year’s Muharram.
These gatherings included ceremonies at the Imamain al-Kazim and al-Hadi (peace be upon them) Mosque, the Fares al-Hejaz mourning gathering at the residence of Haj Ahmad Mirza, and the mourning ceremony at the home of Haj Hassan Nasir.
His presence at these events symbolizes the close connection of the Marja'iyya (religious authority) family with the mourning traditions of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and their support for the promotion of Hussaini teachings.
