Sheikh Jalal Ma’ash, one of the representatives of the religious authority (Marja'iyya), visited the residence of the Grand Marja' Ayatollah al-Udhma Sayyid Sadiq Hosseini Shirazi (may his shadow be extended) in the holy city of Qom. During this meeting, he presented a comprehensive report regarding the situation in Lebanon, particularly concerning religious matters and Hussaini rituals during Muharram 1447 AH.
After listening to the report, the Grand Marja' emphasized the importance of expanding Hussaini rituals in Lebanon. Recalling Lebanon's historical role as the land of Abu Dharr al-Ghifari and home to many great scholars of Jabal Amel, His Eminence stressed that preserving and strengthening Shi'a identity in Lebanon is a vital responsibility.
He further highlighted the importance of utilizing the scholarly and jurisprudential heritage of Jabal Amel's scholars in promoting religious rituals.
