The office of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Husseini Shirazi, in the holy city of Najaf, in Iraq, hosted two mourning gatherings during the days of grief commemorating Prophet Muhammad's Household, peace be upon them, marking the anniversaries of the martyrdoms of Lady Ruqayyah, peace be upon her, and Imam Hassan Almujtaba, peace be upon him.

According to the office, the mourning gathering commemorating Lady Ruqayyah's martyrdom was held on Tuesday, Safar 6, 1448 AH, while the mourning gathering marking the martyrdom of Imam Hassan Almujtaba, peace be upon him, took place on Wednesday, Safar 7, 1448 AH.

Scholars, seminary students, and devotees of Prophet Muhammad's Household, peace be upon them, attended these gatherings.
