The Public Relations Center of the office of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Husseini Shirazi, in the holy city of Karbala, in Iraq, held a mourning ceremony on Safar 7, 1448 AH, to commemorate the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hassan Almujtaba, peace be upon him.

The ceremony was attended by believers and mourners of Prophet Muhammad's Household, peace be upon them, and featured a lecture by Scholar Sheikh Nasser Alhaeri.

In his remarks, Sheikh Alhaeri reflected on aspects of Imam Hassan's noble life and emphasized the injustices he faced throughout his lifetime and even after his martyrdom. He noted that although Imam Hassan held an exalted status as the beloved grandson of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family, he continually faced oppression, persecution, and hostility from the enemies of Islam.
