As part of its intellectual and academic activities, the Center for Studies and Research affiliated with Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Holy Karbala held a specialized seminar titled "Social Counseling: Crisis Control and Coexistence Management."
The session was part of the weekly program of the Al-Naba Cultural and Media Institute and was attended by a number of academic, media, and research figures. The meeting was moderated by the Center's researcher, Mr. Mohammad Alaa Al-Safi, who opened the discussion by emphasizing the importance of the topic. He stated that social consultation, or "shura", is a foundational principle in building a stable and balanced society. This principle, by fostering a spirit of cooperation and mutual understanding among individuals, paves the way for peaceful resolution of crises.
Throughout the session, participants stressed that during political, economic, or social crises, social counseling and collective dialogue serve as constructive alternatives to violence, exclusion, and marginalization. By drawing on diverse viewpoints, these methods can lead to balanced solutions and help reduce tensions.
