On the occasion of the “Greatest Holiday of God” the Holiday of Leadership, a delegation from the Rasool al-Adham (P.B.U.H.) Cultural and Charitable Institute, one of the centers affiliated with the religious authority in Baghdad, Iraq, paid a visit to the holy shrines of Imam Hussein and his brother Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them) in Holy Karbala, Iraq.

Following this, they held a special religious gathering for the occasion at the Saffarin Husseiniyah in the holy city of Karbala on Thursday, the 18th of Dhu al-Hijjah, 1447, following the Evening and Night prayers.

Thaer al-Kadhimi and Ahmed al-Hajami led the spiritual gathering, reciting poetry and panegyrics in honor of Eid al-Ghadir and the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (peace be upon him). The event was well-attended by believers and devotees of the Prophet and his Household (peace be upon them).
