The Zainabiyah Women’s Seminary, an institution affiliated with the Religious Authority in the city of Damascus, Syria, hosted a mourning gathering commemorating the anniversaries of the martyrdoms of Lady Ruqayyah and Imam Hassan, peace be upon them.
The gathering was attended by believing women and included Quran recitation, visitation prayers dedicated to Lady Ruqayyah and Imam Hassan, peace be upon them, a religious lecture, and an elegy.
The gathering also featured a theatrical performance depicting the hardships faced by Prophet Muhammad’s Household, peace be upon them.
