On the evening of the 17th of Rabiʿ al-Awwal 1447 AH, a blessed celebration was held at the Imam Shirazi World Center in Montreal, Canada, to mark the birth anniversaries of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) and Imam Jaʿfar al-Sadiq (peace be upon him), as well as the commemoration of the “Second Ghadir Eid.”

The program began with recitation from the Holy Qur’an, followed by a speech delivered by Sheikh Saleh Sibawayh, who highlighted the greatness of the Prophet’s position, emphasizing the necessity of reviving his noble Sunnah, understanding his authentic teachings, and embodying them within society.

The celebration also featured eulogies in praise of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Imam al-Sadiq (AS), performed by reciters Maytham al-Karmi and Mirza Ahmad Sibawayh, which filled the gathering with a spiritual atmosphere.

It is noteworthy that the celebration coincided with the commemoration of the “Second Ghadir Eid.”
