On the blessed occasion of the birth anniversaries of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) and Imam Jaʿfar al-Sadiq (peace be upon him), the Ahlulbayt Cultural and Charitable Institute in Basra, affiliated with the Marjaʿiyya, organized a ceremony to honor a group of educational staff in the province.
The program began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by a speech from Sheikh Sadiq al-Basri, director of the Ahlulbayt Institute. He highlighted aspects of the shining legacy of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and emphasized the importance of strengthening students’ capacities and exercising patience in dealing with them. He also stressed the necessity of studying and benefiting from the traditions of Ahlulbayt (AS) for personal growth.
Professor Talib Lami, head of the Teachers’ Union in Madina district, expressed gratitude to the Grand Marjaʿ, Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Husayni Shirazi (may Allah prolong his life), for his fatherly and sincere support of educational staff.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, attendees were honored with special gifts and works authored by the Grand Ayatollah Shirazi.
