Members of the Global Assembly of Husayniyah and Mawakib, affiliated with the World Institute of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in the holy city of Karbala, continued their Arbaeen activities in Iraq by arriving in the city of Basra on the 27th of Muharram 1447 AH.

During this trip, the assembly members visited the headquarters of the satellite network “Marja’iyoun”, where they met with Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Sadiq al-Basri, the director of the network, along with several staff members. They were briefed on the media activities and operations of the network.

Additionally, the members of the Global Assembly of Husayniyah and Mawakib visited active mawkib (pilgrim support centers) in Basra, including Hamil al-Liwaa, Sayyida Toua, Ashab al-Kisa (peace be upon them), Al-‘Aqeelah Zaynab (peace be upon her), and Martyr Amjad Abu Hamidah. They engaged in discussions with the officials of these mawakib and expressed appreciation for their services during the Arbaeen pilgrimage.
